Milla Jovovich

Sydney (ANI): 'Resident Evil" star Milla Jovovich has revealed that her life has been pretty hectic despite her thinking that she would take a break from her career after the birth of her daughter. Jovovich, 34, a Ukrainian-born former supermodel turned actor, revealed that things did not work out as planned after she gave birth to daughter, Ever, almost three-years ago.

“It"s hard. I definitely imagined I"d slow down once I had the baby but then everything just kind of sped up," the Sydney Morning Herald quoted her as saying.

“My husband and I just had our anniversary and I wrote him this long letter. I told him it"s crazy how it feels like life is so rushed and so hurried. Everything is 'Gotta do it, gotta do it" and our beautiful baby is growing so fast. It"s three years later. What happened? Where did our lives go? It"s work and baby, work and baby," she stated.

Jovovich"s husband is director and screenwriter Paul W. S. Anderson, and the two have been working on projects such as the popular action-horror-sci-fi Resident Evil film franchise. The fourth in the series, 'Resident Evil: Afterlife", is set to appear in Australian cinemas this week.

Resident Evil

About 17 zombie actors were injured in an accident on the sets of upcoming movie Resident Evil: Retribution, which is directed by Paul WS Anderson. According reports, they were shooting for the 3D science-fiction action film at Cinespace Film Studios in 777 Kipling Ave when they fell from a platform created for filming.

Reports suggest that the accident took place after a portion of a platform on a stage shifted or collapsed under the weight of 50 workers. According to the Toronto Police, the victims complained of leg and back injuries. They immediately rushed 11 people to hospital, while six others were treated by EMS on site.

According to police officials, none of the injuries were considered life-threatening, but it was a horrific scene for rescue workers at first. It was really difficult for them to assess the severity of the actors' injuries as the victims were sporting gory zombie costumes.

However, Resident Evil: Retribution is the fifth installment in the series of horror movies, which are based on the video games. The film, which features Milla Jovovich, Michelle Rodriguez, Kevin Durand, Sienna Guillory and Ali Larter, is expected to be released in September 2012.

Troubled waters

Brad Pitt's upcoming movie World War Z is in troubled waters after the Hungarian authorities raided the movie sets for using some illegal military weapons for the shooting. The actor was not present at the shooting spot, when the incident happened.

According to reports, the Hungarian authorities have seized AK-47s, sniper rifles and many other weapons from the unit on October 10 in Budapest. Brad Pitt, who returned later, became furious after he came to know that the movie was halted. The movie has already crossed the expected budget, which is main reason behind his anger, claim reports.

"This morning a private plane brought guns wrapped in a parcel from a company to an individual [in Budapest]. Guns like these are highly illegal to transport even if they were to used as stage guns, which hopefully they weren't. We are interrogating witness now, getting closer to solving the firearms story." The Acebiz quoted an officer as saying.
